So... Starting February 1, 2015 I will be helping out DJ Paul Aleinikoff and taking the place of DJ Drew as Guest host of "ON THE EDGE" which can be heard on KNHC 89.5 FM Seattle. You can also listen to the show streamed live and past shows for 2 weeks on WWW.C895.ORG. I will see about adding the shows to a permanent place later. Please pledge your support to this Radio Station, as it is a public school station and fully public supported!!! Today also marks the 1 year mark that DJ Paul had his heart attack and subsequent coma. Its been a long recovery but he is showing us that he is back and getting better all the time, as shown by the first 2 hours of this set!!!

Unfortunately if you couldn't tell RadioBlackLight.com is no more, due to many of our lives becoming way complicated this year. So that means there will not be any more new Eclectic Blender shows from me. I'm hoping that by the end of the year I will have saved up enough to buy my own server and start streaming my own station somewhere. Though it will probably be automated it will pull from my entire collection leaving nothing out, and I may DJ live from time to time. Most likely it will be called "M3M0RY L34K" (memory leak). Thank you for all your support and I of course will leave this blog up for the listening pleasure of all. So it should last longer than I will unless Google or Hulkshare goes under.

All posts missing shows/downloads have been fixed

I fixed all the missing shows, 28 of them in all as far as I know. It took some time to get my old pc up and running to retrieve the show files that were no longer showing up from Jumbofile. Luckily having the shows hosted at Hulkshare means that they will never be deleted even if never downloaded. Unless Hulkshare goes down or somebody gets a copyright bug up their arse, all should be there for a good long time.

Showtime change...

If you hadn't noticed, the show no longer is in the evening and is now starting at about 10am and going till 3pm Pacific time.
Also working on replacing the 28 missing shows now that I have my old PC up and running again so I can put the files on the new host, Hulkshare. I should be done getting the shows up by the end of the week. :)

Changing media cloud host.

If you couldn't tell yet, I have started the long and arduous process of moving my media podcast files to HulkShare.com and off of Jumbofile. The reason being that it is a better host, even though some shows will be split due to the 300mb upload limit. HulkShare has no total limit or removal of files,  where as Jumbofile had 500 gig limit and the files are removed after a month of no downloads. The only glitch if found at HulkShare is if your show starts with a well known song their copywrite autodetect program called, Audible Magic content recognition, will copywrite the file you uploaded making so it can not be downloaded but can still play even on an embedded player. I figured out a way to bypass this by adding a one minute commercial tag to the beginning of each show... and poof I have defeated Audible Magic and my podcasts of pasts shows can start with Nirvana if I damn well wanted. ;) I have found HulkShare as good as Soundcloud, I believe it does everything Soundcloud can but better as you can change the colors of your embeded player and it is FREE! .l.. ..l.
If you are looking for pasts shows podcast please be patient as I hope to have them all back up by the end of summer.  Not only is it taking time to edit them and move them, I'm also in the process of moving from Maui back to Seattle and looking for work. Thank you. :)

time off etc.

Took some time off to spend with my partner at the ocean and then had some server problems the next week so missed 2 weeks of shows.  Should be back and on the ball with a 6 hour show if not 7, on the 9th of July to make up for it though ;)
